Does eye protection need to be worn during a Derma Genesis® microdermabrasion treatment?
Genesis Biosystems recommends using eye protection such as our Eye-A-Peel™ disposable eye pads.
How often do I need to change the filters on my Derma Genesis® microdermabrasion machine?
Genesis Biosystems recommends that in older versions of Derma Genesis® Medical Microdermabrasion Systems (those without Plug-n-Peel™), the primary filter be discarded after each bottle of crystal is used. This equates to approximately 10 Derma Genesis® microdermabrasion procedures per filter. The secondary filter should be rotated to the primary filter position immediately after the primary filter has been discarded and the secondary filter should be replaced with a new filter at that time.Is the Derma Genesis® microdermabrasion treatment available only in the United States?
No. Genesis Biosystems distributes and sells its full line of Derma Genesis® microdermabrasion machines worldwide.
What do I need to do to prepare the skin before a Derma Genesis® microdermabrasion treatment?
Always use a gentle, oil-free cleanser such as our Dermacel® Phase I Daily Skin Cleanser to remove any makeup or oils from the skin prior to Derma Genesis® microdermabrasion. The skin must be clean and dry before any Derma Genesis® microdermabrasion procedure can be performed.What type of "after sale" support do you offer regarding the servicing of equipment and follow up training visits?
